All Novalac products have strict quality controls in place. For our milk-based products, that means:
Recipe preparation
Raw milk is heated (pasteurisation) to eliminate all potential pathogens. It is also filtered to remove any potential foreign body. Each ingredient is carefully weighed before being added to the formula, following a strict preparation protocol.
Spray drying
The milk undergoes spray drying to turn it into powder. Strict controls and monitoring prevent contamination risk.
Packing
Strict hygiene rules apply in the packing environment and access is restricted to the operators.
Final quality control check
Each batch is sampled and tested before leaving the production site to confirm its safety and compliance with Novalac specifications, including Australian regulations.

Our range
Our Novalac range is specially designed to help manage common feeding conditions. This includes cow’s milk allergy, reflux, constipation, colic and excessive hunger in the first year or life, as well as cow’s milk allergy in toddlers. Novalac formulas are for formula-fed children and are suitable for everyday, ongoing use.

Novalac Reflux is a thickened formula designed to thicken in the stomach, and not in the bottle, to help reduce the severity and frequency of regurgitation episodes.
colic
Novalac Colic contains a balanced blend of nutrients to help reduce wind and abdominal discomfort whilst nourishing your baby with essential daily vitamins and minerals.
constipation
Novalac Constipation contains a balanced blend of nutrients to help soften stools and increase stool frequency, whilst nourishing your baby with essential daily vitamins and minerals.
allergy
Novalac Allergy has been specially formulated with protein sourced from rice for infants 0-12 months with a cow’s milk allergy, cow’s milk intolerance, or lactose intolerance.

Novalac Allergy Toddler has been specially formulated with protein sourced from rice for toddlers 12 months and over with a cow’s milk allergy, cow’s milk intolerance, or lactose intolerance.
sweet dreams
Novalac Sweet Dreams is formulated to give excessively hungry babies a longer-lasting feeling of fullness, helping the gap between feeds to be extended.
